Brenntag Química opens new logistics center in Portugal

Brenntag Química announces the opening of a new logistic warehouse in the area of Monção, at the North of Portugal, close to the Spanish border.

 

Frederic Pierre, Managing Director Brenntag Química, sees in the opening of the new facility an example of efficient consolidation of the Portuguese and the Spanish business in Galicia: “With this addition to our Iberian distribution network we will cover both Northern Portugal as well as the Spanish region Galicia. Customers and suppliers of both regions will benefit from our new cross border location.”

 

The installation of the cross-border warehouse is the first step to strengthen Brenntag’s position in the Iberian market. On a second phase, the site will be enlarged, in order to extend the complete distribution coverage at both sides of the border.
