Brenntag Química S.A. signs agreement with TDG-Doman

With the aim of meeting the growing needs of the coming years and in order to improve its service to its customers, Brenntag Química SA has signed an agreement for storage outsourcing of prepacked products with the logistics operator TDG-Doman, a specialist in the chemical sector. The facilities of TDG are located at a distance of 1 km from Brenntag’s plant at Granollers (Barcelona), have a capacity for 8,000 palets and fulfill all the current legislation on the storage of chemicals (APQ, GMP, SQAS, ISO 14001).  Brenntag will have its own Team of Quality in the facilities of TDG-Doman, guaranteeing the quality of procedures throughout the whole supply chain.

Plans are to replace this warehouse with new facilities, a project for which a 26,500-square- meter plot of land has already been acquired, also in Monção. It is expected that the new facilities will come on stream in two years. Moreover, Brenntag is upgrading its facilities at Massalfassar (Valencia), with a state-of-the-art underground tankfarm for inflammable products, which is expected to be come into operation in May 2008.
